AS A FULL SERVICE NANNY AGENCY,
WE ARE SIMPLIFYING THE STEPS TO FINDING YOUR PERFECT FIT!
We speak with you one on one to discuss your family’s needs. Our initial conversation will consist of learning about your family dynamic, what you are looking for in a caregiver, any personality or professional qualities that will mesh well with your family, your schedule, the job responsibilities and expectations you’re seeking in a caregiver, and your family’s childcare philosophy. We also take time to learn about each member of your family along with any specialized training requirements or needs. This initial family meeting is free with no obligation and can be done with local families in person or via phone. We suggest starting your search 4 to 8 weeks before care is needed to begin. Due to the careful attention we pay to our process, we are unable to accommodate "immediate" needs.
Once we have a foundation of your needs, your customized nanny search begins! We may look through our current pool of pre-screened Nashville nannies, or we may have to recruit specifically for your job. Either way, this process is customized for each family, and we search based on education, experience, and character traits that will meet and exceed your expectations. Each candidate is personally interviewed, evaluated, and reference checked. We create a short-list of top notch candidates to introduce to you, eliminating 90% of initial applicants who apply.
Next, we send you the profiles of hand picked, qualified nannies that fit your criteria. We ask families to review the candidates, knowing they have been vetted and screened, and offer interviews with candidates who stand out. Interviews are arranged by our staff and conducted by you in the comfort of your own home or office, with our hiring packet in hand to assist in asking the right questions. Each family's privacy and needs are of paramount importance to us. We do not have public or private family profiles that are shared with candidates. Our thorough job descriptions keep your information confidential and private until interviewing with potential candidates.
Trial days & hiring
When you meet the right nanny, we encourage a paid working interview or trial days. We equip you with a customizable Professional Work Agreement that will define and outline the nanny's responsibilities, terms of employment, and benefits, which establishes a great start with you and your household employee. We supply all the support materials during this process and provide valuable resources & referrals for hiring your nanny.
Southern Standard Nannies offers continuing support for our family clients. We are here to answer questions, assist with Back Up Care, and help with the growing needs of each family.

A placement fee is collected once an offer is made and the referred candidate accepts the position. This placement fee for live-out nanny searches is 7% of the anticipated gross annual earnings of the candidate for permanent positions. To begin a search, we require a $100 registration fee. To learn more about our part-time and full time minimums as well as temporary placement fees, please contact us.
Southern Standard Nannies does not employ nannies or household employees, and serves as a referral service only. We do not hire or fire any individual candidate/household employee at any time, nor have any say in doing so, as that decision is up to the sole discretion of the hiring family/employer.
