Step 1:

Getting To Know You

Our first step is setting up a phone call to discuss the position. Our initial conversation will consist of learning about your day to day needs, what you are looking for in your hire, any personality or professional qualities that will mesh well with you, your schedule, the job responsibilities and expectations you’re seeking in a candidate. If you are seeking a nanny, we will focus on your family's goals and philosophies and how your caregiver can carry those out on a daily basis. We also take time to learn about each member of your household or family along with any specialized training requirements or needs. Following this, we collect an intake form and set up a Zoom meeting to finalize the details before getting started. Most searches take on average 2 - 6 weeks to complete, please inquire directly about the current projected timeframe. 

Step 2:

Customized Search

Once we have a foundation of your needs, your customized candidate search begins! We may look through our current pool of pre-screened candidates, or it may be someone new to our network. Either way, this process is customized for each family, and we search based on your specific needs. Each candidate is personally interviewed, evaluated, and reference checked prior to being introduced to you. 

Step 3:

Candidate Selection

We create a short-list of candidates to introduce you to, narrowing it down to the top 10% of those who meet your requirements. We ask clients to review these candidates, knowing they have been vetted and screened, and offer interviews to candidates who stand out. Interviews are arranged by our staff and conducted by you in the comfort of your own home or office, with our hiring packet in hand to assist in asking the right questions. Each family's privacy and needs are of paramount importance to us. We do not have public or private family profiles that are shared with candidates. Our thorough job descriptions keep your information confidential and private until interviewing with potential candidates. 

Step 4:

Trial Days & Hiring

After you have interviewed the right nanny or household employee, we encourage a paid working interview or trial days with this individual. Pending a successful trial, the next step is a job offer! We equip you with a customizable Professional Employment Agreement that will define and outline your employees responsibilities, terms of employment, and benefits, which establishes a great start with you and your household employee. We supply all the support materials during this process and provide valuable resources & referrals for hiring your employee such as payroll, insurance and more.

Southern Standard Nannies offers continuing support for our family clients.  We are here to answer questions, assist with Back Up Care, and help with the growing needs of each family.
