This laid back family of four is looking for an awesome summer nanny who will step in with their two daughters, 5 and 1, while their permanent nanny is on maternity leave this summer. They are a long-term client of SSN and amazing employers! They would love to find someone who is an extension of the parents when they’re not home, and who loves to take the girls out and about to activities. These two easy-going, silly sisters are a joy to be around and the parents are incredibly respectful of the partnership with their nanny!

SCHEDULE
Hours: 40 hours work week will fall between 7am - 6 pm Monday – Friday, family will provide a more accurate schedule in advance
Two weeks during this short term role will be 50 hour weeks when the parents are out of town and grandparents are keeping the kids overnight.
Guaranteed hours: 40/week
Short term duration: May 28 – August 23, 2024 (flexible end date) *could have someone begin part time sooner


THE DETAILS

This summer has a strong potential to be super fun! With memberships to Cheekwood, the Adventure Science Center, and the Zoo, they foresee a fun summer going all out and doing lots of activities! Their current full time nanny/family assistant, who has been with them for a year and a half, will be having her first child in June, and so they are looking for someone to help them primarily with our kiddos and around the house while she is on leave. The girls have camps that they will attend, but there are a few weeks that they will be home for the whole time. They are looking for someone kind, loving, attentive to detail, and a good communicator.

During the week, they will ask for the nanny to stay on top of childcare related tasks around the home such as the kid’s laundry, picking up their areas/toys, washing their dishes, etc. but also completely understand there are days where everything gets done and others where it doesn’t, and they want their children to always come first. They aren’t big on screen time, but will use it strategically a few times a week, they just don’t see it as an every day thing. With these parents being in the throws of life with two little kids, they have learned they can’t take themselves or bad days too seriously and want to find a nanny who finds humor in the chaos and mess that sometimes happens. They are super down to earth and are looking for a reliable human so they can show up and continue to build successful careers in law.



REQUIREMENTS
- Minimum 3 years of professional childcare experience
- 1 year prior nanny experience OR a minimum of 2 summer nanny roles
- Experiences with ages 1 – 5
- Experience driving children and going on outings
- Own, reliable transportation is a must
- Valid driver’s license
- Able to commit full time for the summer
- Must be COVID vaccinated/boosted
- Non-smoker


COMPENSATION:
Hourly: $24-28/hr gross
