ABOUT THE FAMILY:
This warm, intentional, and fun-loving family in Old Hickory is looking for a Family Assistant who will become a true partner in supporting their two daughters, ages 7 and 11. Both parents work and value someone who can step in as a steady, encouraging presence—someone who brings joy, ease, and positive energy into their daily rhythm.
Their girls are active, creative, and full of personality, and the parents are excited to welcome someone who will help nurture their growth while also keeping the household running smoothly. The family is flexible and open to candidates seeking 25–35 hours per week, with additional hours available in the summer.

SCHEDULE
• School Year: 25–35 hours/week, Monday–Friday, late mornings through early evenings
• Summer: 25–40 hours/week, Monday–Friday, daytime
• Guaranteed Hours: Based on final schedule
• Start Date: ASAP / Flexible
• Duration: Long-term

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING:
• Bringing warm, patient, upbeat energy to each day
• Building connections with the girls and focusing on nurturing that bond
• Dreaming up fun and enriching moments, think; crafts, learning projects, life skills, creative play, and homework help
• Handling school and activity transportation (vehicle provided)
• Taking on helpful household tasks including errands, groceries, ordering supplies, vendor coordination, organization, and appointment scheduling
• Assisting with laundry and maintaining a tidy home while encouraging the girls’ independence
• Switching smoothly between childcare and household needs
• Keeping the family calendar organized and updated
• Helping with meal prep and simple cooking
• Getting the family set up for success; packing bags, prepping meals, and organizing for upcoming activities or events

G7: Confident, playful, imaginative, and full of enthusiasm. Loves reading, gymnastics, swimming, and making people laugh.

WHAT THEY'RE LOOKING FOR:
• Prior experience as a Family Assistant or Household Manager
• At least 5 years of experience with school-aged children
• Alignment with their intentional, growth-minded parenting style
• Someone who can pick up their family rhythms quickly
• Reliable transportation to work, valid driver’s license, and clean driving record
• A strong swimmer
• High-energy, positive, outdoors-loving
• Exceptionally organized and dependable
• Interested in a long-term role
• Teaching experience is a bonus

PREFERRENCES:
• Child Psychology OR Elementary Education

COMP + BENEFITS:
• Hourly Rate: $25–$35/hour depending on experience and education
