This dual-physician family is seeking a highly organized and proactive House Manager to become a key member of their household team. Their wonderful nanny has been with them for over a year and focuses on caring for their 18-month-old daughter. They are now looking for someone to oversee household operations and partner with mom during evenings when dad is working in the ICU.

The ideal candidate will help this busy family come home to a calm, well-managed space and enjoy more quality time together instead of tackling chores. This position offers a mix of set and flexible hours, along with occasional backup childcare coverage when their nanny is unavailable.

SCHEDULE
Week A: Monday–Friday 4–8 PM (+ 2–3 flexible hours/week)
Week B: Two days 4–8 PM (+ 4–6 flexible hours/week)
Total Monthly Hours: 55–70 hours
Start Date: January 2026
Duration: Long-term (2+ years preferred)

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Household Management
● Grocery shopping and errands
● Loading/unloading dishwasher
● Restocking pantry/fridge/freezer and tossing expired items
● Dinner prep or heating up meals + clean-up assistance
● Breakfast prep (smoothies, overnight oats, etc.)
● Coordinating/scheduling home repair, doctor, vet appointments
● Daily kitchen/tidy-up at the end of the day
● Clothing returns, mailing packages
● Researching topics (travel, swim lessons, etc.) and reporting back
● Monitor the family calendar and add events as needed
● Communicating on behalf of the family in response to specifically designed emails
● Watering plants
● Organizing cat medications, food, and litter orders
● Quarterly deep projects (cleaning porch furniture, sanitizing dishwasher/washing machine, organizing the pantry, etc.)

Schedule Expectations
● Comfortable working a blend of fixed hours and self-scheduled flexible hours
● Able to flex hours for backup care, special events, or work emergencies

Childcare Coverage
● Provide full-day backup care (7 AM–5 PM) if nanny is out sick (estimated to be 5 or fewer days per year)
● Cover 15–30 minutes in the evening as needed if mom is delayed, allowing the nanny to leave on time

REQUIREMENTS
● Prior household management experience
● Minimum 4 years of professional experience as a household employee
● Minimum 1 year working professionally with toddlers
● Personal vehicle for work use (mileage reimbursed)
● Valid driver’s license
● Commitment to a long-term role
● Comfortable with cats

COMPENSATION
Hourly Rate: $30 – $35/hr gross
