INTUITIVE, DILIGENT + MOTIVATED PROFESSIONAL NANNY + HOUSEHOLD MANAGER

An active role of Nanny + Household Manager with travel experience, is needed for a single father in the 12 South/Belmont area of Nashville, TN (37212). The candidate must have professional experience as a nanny with children ages 5 years and up, as well as proficiency in personal assistant tasks and household management responsibilities. NK is in Kindergarten, so childcare hours will reflect when she is out of school and weekends when with Dad, and household management and personal assistant tasks will be performed when she is in school or at mom’s house.

SCHEDULE
Hours: Full-time, hours to mirror shared custody parenting plan + scheduled PA/HM hours as needed. Typical hours when child is present is 7 AM – 7 PM, weekdays or weekends
School year parenting plan: With Dad every other Thursday – Monday. Nanny duties are required whenever child is with dad, including weekends. When with mom, the hire will shift to household manager/PA tasks.
Summer parenting plan: 7 days with mom, 7 days with dad alternating. While G5 is with dad, nanny duties will apply for all 7 days (child is in school 8 - 3 weekdays). When 7 days with mom, PA tasks will be asked over 2-5 weekdays (rarely on weekends) depending on what is needed.

Start date: ASAP
Duration: long term, 3+ year commitment

Key Responsibilities
CHILDCARE
o Provide exceptional care for G5, fostering her growth and development.
o Engage in fun, educational activities such as ballet, swimming, playground visits, and local outings.
o Ensure all child-related items are stocked and organized.
o Keep the child’s room and play areas tidy, organized, and clean.
o Create age-appropriate experiences and adapt to developmental stages over time.
o Oversee summer camp days
o Build a strong, positive bond with the child.
TRAVEL
o Travel domestically and internationally (including the Caribbean) for approximately 3–5 weeks per year.
o Maintain a valid passport and be travel-ready at all times.
o Be a strong swimmer and comfortable on boats.
o Assist with creating itineraries and managing child’s travel activities.
HOUSEHOLD/PA TASKS
o Manage household supplies, keeping items stocked.
o Order and pick up meals; assist with light cooking and meal prep for the child.
o Oversee kitchen organization, including monitoring expiration dates and disposing of expired food.
o Manage family calendar and maintain schedule organization.
o Prepare the home for small in-home events and hosting.
o Schedule and manage vendors and service providers.
o Handle errands, tidying, and other FA-related tasks.
o Communicate on behalf of the principal for appointment setting, booking reservations, etc.
o Assist with business related tasks as-needed as the principal grows his new company

o Complete tasks efficiently from start to finish with a proactive approach.
o Accept and apply feedback to meet the principal’s preferences.
o Exhibit honesty, loyalty, and dependability at all times.
o Maintain a polished, professional demeanor and discretion.
o Maintain professional work environment and avoid bringing personal matters to the workplace.
OTHER
o Use provided vehicle for work-related purposes.
o Demonstrate technological proficiency for scheduling, orders, and planning.

QUALIFICATIONS
- Minimum 3 years professional experience in a family assistant or household management role
- Minimum 3 years of professional childcare/nanny experience with a child age 5-7
- Prior personal assistant experience strongly preferred
- Adaptability to changes, situations, and the role over time
- Flexibility with schedule, tasks, etc.
- Capable of completing tasks from start to finish, not leaving loose ends on things
- A great communicator with the principal & others via in-person, emails, texts, calls, etc.
- Experienced traveler (not averse to planes, boats, cars, etc.)
- Strong swimmer/comfortable around pools and water.
- Proficient with technology (smart phones, smart homes, cars, etc.)
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
- Valid Passport/travel ready
- A positive, go getter attitude
- Someone who can prioritize the needs of the family, on-going
- Prior High Profile experience
- Extremely tidy and strong sense of attention to detail
- Able to collaborate and work well with others
- Extremely protective of this family and ensure their privacy is kept at all times
- Discretion is required at all times
- NDA and Employment Agreement are required for employment
- Must absolutely love children!
