Location: Travel-based (home base: Nashville, TN)


Schedule: As-needed, typically Thursday–Sunday every other week, with 2–3 weeks' notice
Commitment: 6 months – 1 year initially

A single father is seeking an experienced, travel-savvy nanny to provide loving and professional care for his two children, G7 and B5, when they accompany him on work-related travel when it falls during his time with them.

This position is best suited for someone who thrives on variety, is highly adaptable, and can confidently and independently manage care while dad works long hours on set. Travel needs are communicated in advance, but flexibility and reliability are essential.

About the Family:

Their homes and parenting style are centered on love, respect, consistency, and positivity. The kids are curious, affectionate, and full of light, and their parents have always nurtured that spark.
Although now co-parenting, both parents remain very hands-on and intentional. They are looking for a nanny who honors and mirrors their decisions and preferences when stepping in.

Ideal Candidate:
The right nanny is calm, competent, upbeat, and highly proactive. You’ll need to be a grounded presence for the children, able to maintain their routines and energy while away from home. You’ll also need to anticipate needs, handle logistics like packing/unpacking and meals, and create engaging moments on the road. A nurturing, warm, and emotionally intelligent approach to discipline and communication is a must.

Key Responsibilities:
• Provide full care for both children while traveling with their father
• Maintain and follow routines, including meals, play, and bedtime
• Be comfortable to travel independently with the children if Dad needs to remain on set for work.
• Pack, organize, and prepare for trips
• Offer safe, fun, and developmentally enriching experiences
• Prepare or oversee meals and snacks, keeping aligned with the family's firm nutritional preferences
• Support respectful, mindful discipline and model healthy emotional expression
• Provide emotional support and care for the children
• Communicate clearly and consistently with the father

REQUIREMENTS

- 3 years of professional childcare experience
- Experienced and confident traveler
- Professional nanny experience with ages 5+
- Hold valid passport
- Hold valid driver’s license + have a safe driving record
- Non-smoker/vaper
- Must sign NDA
- High profile experience strongly preferred

COMPENSATION
Rate: $30+ per hour/negotiable
