DEDICATED, FLEXIBLE + ORGANIZED LONG-TERM NANNY/HOUSEHOLD MANAGER FOR A FAMILY OF 3

A long-time family client is seeking a nanny/home manager to support their evolving family dynamic. Having previously worked with a full-time nanny, they now require additional assistance following a recent separation. Dad is looking for a trustworthy and proactive right-hand person to help care for his 5-year-old daughter (Kindergarten at FRA) and, in time, assist with his infant son, who will join shared custody sometime after his first birthday. The ideal candidate will primarily focus on childcare responsibilities, including school pick-ups, afterschool routines, and engaging activities. If additional hours are desired, household management tasks such as light tidying, errands, and organization can be incorporated.
This position offers long-term stability, flexibility, and the potential for expanded responsibilities as the family’s needs grow.
SCHEDULE
Hours: Monday – Friday: 2:00 PM – 7:00 PM (flexible, may end earlier if needed)
• Flexible hours on days when the child is not there to complete household tasks.
• Additional 5-10 hours available for household assistance on days when the child is not present.
• Candidate must be open to adjusted hours in the future, particularly once an infant joins care.
• Availability for school days off, sick days, and summer schedule adjustments.
Guaranteed hours: 25 – 35/week depending on the agreed upon duties, will increase to 40 ~ 1 year
Start date: As soon as possible
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Childcare & Engagement:
o Provide attentive and nurturing care for a 5-year-old child.
o Pick up from school daily at 2:30 PM (subject to after school activities).
o Assist with homework and provide engaging, educational activities.
o Prepare and serve after school snacks and dinner.
o Plan fun and enriching outings around town (parks, museums, etc.), minimizing screen time.
2. Household Support:
o Light housekeeping related to the child’s daily routine.
o Assist with laundry, grocery shopping, and general household organization.
o Run occasional errands or assist with non-childcare tasks.
3. Future Infant Care:
o Open to expanding responsibilities once the youngest child is incorporated in the 50/50 childcare guardianship plan.
4. Practice professionalism and discretion daily to ensure the family’s privacy is maintained at all times.
REQUIREMENTS
o Minimum 4 years of nanny experience
o Minimum 1 year of FA or HM experience if opting for +hours
o Must be trustworthy, reliable, and communicative.
o Comfortable with 3 cats in the home.
o Willingness to travel with the family on trips (passport required).
o Must have a valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle (mileage reimbursed).
o Willing to sign a Non-Disclosure Agreement (NDA).
o Comfortable with indoor cats
COMPENSATION
• Hourly Rate: $29 - $32/hr gross (increases once infant care is included).
