A professional couple in Edgehill is seeking a charismatic and self-sufficient nanny to care for their sweet 15-month-old daughter. This outgoing, energetic family loves spending time together outdoors, exploring the city, and traveling. While they follow a solid routine with their daughter, they maintain a flexible approach to daily activities and rely on their nanny to take the lead in planning engaging outings—whether it’s a scheduled music class, a trip to the zoo, or a park adventure.
They are looking for a nanny who reflects their easygoing yet hardworking nature and who will provide a safe, enriching environment where their little girl can grow into a kind and thoughtful citizen of the world. This family warmly embraces a nanny into their home and couldn't have done the first 15 months without their amazing nanny by their side.

SCHEDULE
• Monday – Friday: 7:30 AM – 5:30 PM* (Most days end between 4:30 – 5:15 PM)
• Guaranteed Hours: 45 hours per week (family is open to adding more if desired)
• Start Date: May 15th
• Duration: Long-term (2–5 years) with potential to transition into a newborn care or family assistant role as the family grows

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
• Arrive promptly by 7:30 AM to allow parents to begin their workday
• Plan and initiate engaging activities, ensuring the child has plenty of opportunities to explore the community at parks, story time, the zoo, music classes, etc. while balancing that with time at home to play and read together (a favorite!)
• Provide structured yet flexible daily routines, including outdoor play, snacks, lunch, naptime, and enriching activities
• Plan and cook nutritious vegetarian meals for the child
• Maintain a safe, supportive, and loving environment that encourages kindness, curiosity, and patience
• Keep the child's spaces tidy, handle child-related laundry, and maintain common areas used throughout the day
• Communicate regularly with parents about milestones, adjustments, and any challenges

REQUIREMENTS
• Minimum 3 years of professional childcare experience
• Minimum 2 years of nanny experience
• Minimum 2 years of experience caring for toddlers (16–18 months)
• Seeking a long-term commitment
• Non-smoker/non-vaper
• Reliable vehicle for work-related transportation (mileage reimbursed)
• Up to date on childhood immunizations + willing to receive an annual flu vaccine
• Newborn experience preferred, as the family may grow in the future

• No pets in the home

COMPENSATION + BENEFITS
• Hourly Rate: $25–$31/hour gross (based on experience)
