This tight-knit family of four is seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Family Assistant to help their household thrive during the week. With both parents working full-time and two children (B7.5 + G 2.5) both heading into a full-time school schedule this fall, they’ve learned how essential it is to have a reliable, experienced professional managing afternoon logistics and ensuring things run smoothly at home.

Both parents are driven, high-achieving professionals, and they’re looking for someone with a similar work ethic—someone who takes pride in their work, communicates openly, and can step into the role with confidence and ease. As a family, they love to spend quality time together, travel, hike, and stay active. They place a strong emphasis on honesty and integrity, and are intentional about passing these values on to their children.


SCHEDULE
Monday – Friday 12pm – 6/7 pm
*ideally would have 1 consistent weekday that is ~2 pm – 10 pm
Guaranteed hours: 40/week
Occasional overtime needed
Flexibility: Later evenings on occasion, overnight stays, travel, summer hours

This role is perfect for someone who is organized, highly communicative, and genuinely enjoys building strong relationships with both children and parents. The family values open communication, reliability, and a can-do attitude. They consider their nanny an extension of the family and are looking for someone who will take pride in contributing to a well-run and loving home.

The schedule will begin daily at 12:00 PM with time allocated for household support—prepping dinner, tidying up, and assisting with general home organization & management. The Nanny/FA will begin pick up at 2:30 and bring them to any afternoon activities, and return home for dinner prep, homework help, and the evening routine (all depending on the day). End time is typically between 6:00–7:00 PM. Summer hours in June - August 2026 will be slightly adjusted and will include some travel.

KEY REQUIREMENTS
• Have an organized and detail-oriented approach. Keeping up with household systems (especially maintaining organization established by a professional), managing changing schedules/calendar management, and keeping both the home and routines running smoothly will be required in the role.
• Maintain a tidy, clean environment and notices when things are out of place (e.g., toys, dishes, clutter) and take action, including following household rules such as no eating in the car
• Transporting the children daily from school and to activities, most of which are closer to the Nashville area, including the children’s schools. A nanny car will be provided.
• Able to make thoughtful decisions and follow through on commitments without reminders and actively looking for ways to be helpful.
• Set respectful and clear boundaries with the children while maintaining a warm, fun, and engaging presence, and following through with timely and age-appropriate consequences.
• Open, honest, and clear communicator with both children and parents. Receives feedback well and communicates scheduling changes, needs, and concerns promptly.
• Flexible with Occasional Evenings, overnights, and travel. The position will involve staying later 2–3 times a month for evening events, overnight stays a few times per quarter, and travel with the family for 2-4 weeks per year including a longer trip planned for summer ‘26

REQUIREMENTS
- Minimum 3 years of professional nanny experience
- Minimum 1 year of Family Assistant experience or similar
- Longevity in former Nanny/FA roles
- Experience working with similar ages (2.5 and 7.5)
- Able to travel, valid passport
- Non-smoker/vaper
- Excellent driving record

COMPENSATION
Hourly: $26 - $33/hr gross depending on qualifications
