SCHEDULE
• Hours: Monday – Friday, 11 am – 7 pm
• Flexibility: Occasional evenings until 10:30/11 pm; potential overnight support needed
• Start Date: ASAP (August preferred)
• Duration: 2-4 years

About the Family: A dedicated single mom, balancing career and family life, seeks a proactive, organized family assistant to support her and her two teens (G13, B15). The family values action, responsibility, and their Jewish cultural heritage. They are close-knit and supportive, navigating life together after the loss of their beloved son and brother. They have an after school nanny who will mostly be in charge of G13 and getting her to and from school and activities. Main responsibilities for this FA will be the household and B15.

About the Kids:
• B16: High-functioning with a condition related to autism, needs emotional regulation support, and will be involved in driver’s ed, volunteering, and afterschool clubs.
• G13: Sporty and affectionate, responds well to responsible adult guidance and healthy communication.


KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
• Collaborate with mom to support and guide the children.
• Facilitate after school schedules and activities.
• Maintain household organization, including laundry, errands, grocery shopping, and tidying.
• Assist with meal planning and cooking.
• Remind and enforce kids’ chores and responsibilities.
• Provide pet care for dogs and cats.
• Balance household duties with after school needs.
• House and/or pet sitting when the family travels

REQUIREMENTS
• 2 years of experience as a Family Assistant or similar
• Experience with teenagers and special needs
• Reliable vehicle, valid driver’s license, and clear driving record
• Open-minded, progressive, and pet-friendly
• Kind, authoritative approach to discipline
• Flexible schedule

COMPENSATION
• Hourly: $26 - $32 per hour (based on qualifications)
• Benefits: PTO, paid sick time, holidays, health insurance stipend, mileage reimbursement
