A dynamic and goal-oriented family in Hendersonville seeks an experienced and dedicated full-time nanny and family assistant to join their household. Their bright and energetic 2-year-old daughter thrives on engaging, educational activities that stimulate her curious mind. With dad frequently traveling and mom working as a creative director, they need a proactive, compassionate professional to provide exceptional care for their daughter and assist with light household tasks.

POSITION DETAILS
• Schedule: Tuesday – Saturday or Tuesday – Friday
o Hours:
 Tues/Wed/Thurs: 10 AM – 6 PM
 Friday: 11:30 AM – 6 PM
 Saturday: Flexible hours
• Guaranteed Hours: 32–40 hours per week, depending on the finalized schedule
• Start Date: January/February 2025
• Duration: Minimum one-year commitment with potential for long-term growth

Mom remains actively involved in her daughter's care but needs support during work hours, particularly for household organization or childcare when her schedule demands. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Child Development & Enrichment:
o Plan and engage in developmentally appropriate activities to support the child’s growth and curiosity.
o Embrace a Montessori-inspired approach to encourage hands-on learning and independence.

• Positive Reinforcement: Use praise and rewards to foster a nurturing and confident learning environment.

• Respectful Parenting Support: Promote empathy and understanding, responding thoughtfully to the child’s needs and emotions.

• Household Assistance:
o Tidy common areas, assist with meal cleanup, and maintain the organization of toys and children’s items.
o Develop efficient systems for household organization and handle light errands.
o Proactively manage tasks during naptime, such as planning activities, setting up crafts, or organizing.

• Collaboration with Mom: Transition seamlessly between assisting with household management and providing childcare throughout the day.

• Adaptability: Adhere to the family’s established routines while remaining flexible in their dynamic home environment.

• Home-Based Role: No field trips or outings with the child are required, as all child-related activities will occur within the family’s home.

REQUIREMENTS
• Minimum of 5 years of professional nanny experience
• At least 3 years of experience working with children aged 2 years and older
• Experience with newborns is a plus, as the family may grow in the near future
• Background in education or teaching preferred
• Professional experience completing household management tasks
• Comfortable signing a Non-Disclosure Agreement (NDA)
• Dog-friendly and comfortable around pets
• Highly discreet, private, and professional demeanor
• Non-smoker/vaper

Additional Preferences
• Ability to travel 2–3 days at a time, up to 2–3 times per year (preferred but not required)

COMPENSATION
• Hourly Rate: $30–$35/hr gross depending on qualifications
