Location: Brentwood, TN (North Brentwood)

This returning SSN Client is seeking a professional, structured, and proactive career nanny to join their home and perform both childcare and family assisting responsibilities. This role primarily focuses on their 1-year-old while providing light assistance with their older children (ages 4 and 6), who are in school full-time. The parents are hands-on and involved but need a nanny who can operate independently when needed, maintain structure, plan and engage in creative and active activities, and assisting with household organization.

The ideal candidate will be highly adaptable, proactive in managing household needs, and experienced in working within a dynamic, high-profile home with a team mentality.

SCHEDULE
Hours: 9 AM – 5 PM, Monday – Friday, with flexibility for occasional schedule shifts based on children’s activities. Additional evening or weekend help may be arranged in advance.
Start Date: Flexible
Evenings/weekends: occasional/with notice
Travel: Domestic and international travel may be required


ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES
• Primary care for the 1-year-old, including engaging in developmentally appropriate activities, preparing meals, and creating a stimulating environment with crafts, sensory play, and learning opportunities.
• Support for older children as needed, such as organizing items for activities (e.g., packing soccer bags, preparing water bottles) and fostering an inclusive, engaging dynamic for all three children.
• Household and family assistance tasks, including keeping common areas tidy, organizing, ordering household supplies (e.g., adding to Amazon cart), and working collaboratively with the full-time housekeeper. Both parents are type-A and require a tidy and orderly home where everyone pitches in to keep it that way.
• Efficient with time management and prioritizing tasks.
• Able to assist on occasion with meal prep or cooking easy family dinners
• Flexibility with schedule adjustments based on seasonal activity changes (e.g., occasional early or late shifts with notice).
• Errands and light household tasks as needed to ensure smooth daily operations.
• Comfort with occasional overnights when necessary, although this is rare.
• Respect for a structured and detail-oriented household, with a proactive approach to maintaining order and cleanliness.

IDEAL CANDIDATE/REQUIREMENTS:
• Highly experienced (4+ years full-time nanny experience, including newborn and toddler care).
• 2 years of Family Assisting—organized, proactive, and willing to take initiative with household tasks.
• Adaptable and flexible to adjust to the family’s changing needs and schedules.
• Comfortable in a home with hands-on parents, able to work both independently and collaboratively.
• Has experience in a high-profile home and understands the level of discretion and professionalism required.
• Active and adventurous, enjoys spending time outdoors and engaging children in physical and educational activities.
• Comfortable meal prepping/cooking when needed.
• Travel-ready—willing to accompany the family on domestic and international trips, the longest being 2-3 weeks, but most being 3 to 5 days.
• CPR/First Aid certified and safety-minded.
• Valid driver’s license and clean background check.

COMPENSATION & BENEFITS
• Hourly Rate: $30 – $35+/hr (dependent on experience and qualifications)
