These intentional and loving first-time parents are seeking a true professional to join their team and provide warm, enriching, and attentive care for their baby girl, who will be 5 months old when the position begins. They are a structured, type-A family who thrive on routines, clear communication, and honesty—and they hold deep appreciation for traditions, especially around the holidays. Both parents will work a hybrid schedule, alternating between home and external offices depending on the week. They enjoy spending quality time together and with extended family; whether in their backyard, trying new restaurants, cheering on their favorite team, or relaxing at the beach. Their hope is to find a nurturing, dependable individual who will partner with them through their daughter’s early years, giving them peace of mind knowing they have a dedicated partner providing excellent care to their sweet baby.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
• Maintain the baby’s schedule and collaborate closely with the parents to adjust routines as needed.
• Plan and lead enriching, developmentally appropriate activities that encourage growth, tailored to the baby’s interests and emerging curiosities. Neighborhood walks are encouraged; driving is not required.
• Provide regular updates to the parents throughout the day.
• Collaborate with parents working from home by implementing their preferences, offering thoughtful suggestions, and tackling problem-solving together.
• Handle baby-related tasks, including washing/sanitizing items, pre-treating laundry, and restocking changing stations.
• Adapt care as the baby’s needs evolve throughout the first year.
• Occasionally assist with simple pet-related tasks, like letting the family dog out or refilling his water.
IDEAL FIT
• A strong, proactive communicator who shares updates and photos throughout the day and logs feedings and diaper changes in a shared app—mom loves receiving these!
• Respects structure, boundaries, and the family’s parenting choices, and thrives in an organized environment.
• Brings solid infant experience and a creative approach to developmentally enriching play. A background in early childhood education or development is a plus.
• Comfortable working in a type-A household and following specific routines or scheduling preferences.
