This active family with three children, B3, G21mo, B5mo recently relocated to TN and are settling in to their new routine! They live an active and healthy lifestyle and love to be outside, go for walks, spend hours at the playground, swim, and take their children to enrichment classes. Mom and dad are both entrepreneurs who are balance the day between work obligations and spending time with the kids, so a team-player will be needed to tackle the day with 3 kids under 3! The family is building out their support team and is looking to find an afternoon nanny for 2 to 5 afternoons per week to help them with the evening routine.

SCHEDULE
Hours: 3 PM – 8 PM, 2-5 weeknights per week. Tuesday/Wednesday strongly preferred, but they can be flexible.
Start date: ASAP
Duration: 6-12 month initial commitment

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

- Tend to the children’s needs and ensure that the family’s set routine/schedule is implemented.
- Bring a joyful and upbeat mindset to work and be very sweet and tender with the children, while also being able to hold boundaries and have them listen.
- Adaptable to fluctuations in the day to day, and open to taking direction from mom about the format for each day.
- Work comfortably with involved parents. Mom/Dad may be around and involved or may be out of the house.
- Maintaining the tidiness of the home and picking up after dinner and bathtime, and making sure the house is reset (toys put up, dishes away, etc.) before leaving.
- Collaborating with the parents to complete tasks like prepping basic kid meals such as eggs, pasta, cutting fruit, steaming veggies & browning ground beef, and staying open-minded to helping with other kid-related tasks as they come up.
- Swim/monitor swimming with the kids, the older kids are in swim lessons.
- Be dog-friendly, the family has two large, friendly doodle-mixes.
- Driving the children as-needed to school pick up, extracurricular, etc.
- Potential to stay later if mom and dad have an evening engagement


REQUIREMENTS
- Minimum 3 years of professional childcare experience
- Minimum 2 years of nanny experience
- Minimum 2 years of experience with ages 5mo – 4 years old
- Able to offer slight flexibility in the schedule
- Have a vehicle to use for work purposes, mileage reimbursed
- Have a valid driver’s license and safe driving record
- Non-smoker/vaper


COMPENSATION
Hourly: $26 - $32/hour depending on qualifications
