KNOWLEDGABLE, LOVING + EASY-GOING INFANT NANNY FOR 3 MONTH OLD

ABOUT THE FAMILY
This friendly and warm couple just welcomed their little boy in early August 2024. After their parental leave ends, they are excited to welcome a nanny into their home who will love on their little boy while they work Monday - Thursday. They hope to build a friendly and respectful relationship with their nanny and will look to an experienced and confident infant-focused nanny who will help them with all the milestones that happen throughout the first year. Both parents mostly work outside of the home, but have 1-2 WFH days M-Th. They are an easy-going couple who are remaining openminded to doing what’s best for them and baby. They are an active family who enjoys hikes, bike rides and cheering on their college football teams! They try to spend time throughout the year with their family who is spread out across the US.

SCHEDULE
Monday – Thursday 8 – 4
Friday may be added in the future, but this is WFH day for both parents and they can usually cover the day.
Start date: Early/Mid November 2024
Duration: November 2024 – December 2025

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Daily care for baby to meet all of his needs including bottle prep, diapering, napping, and playtime.
2. Planning and implementing intentional playtime that is focused on helping baby reach developmental milestones, which includes indoor and outdoor activities such as walks, water play, etc. Screen time will not be allowed.
3. Offer patience, love, and gentleness to baby through easy days and tough days.
4. Assisting with light household tasks such as baby’s bottles and dishes, loading/unloading the dishwasher, preparing baby’s food, and keeping baby’s areas and common areas tidy and picked up from nanny/baby’s daily use.
5. Minimal pet care if the dog is home (they often take him to work) which involves letting in/out a few times a day.
6. Collaborative with parents and talk through challenges or new milestones, offering experience-based guidance and suggestions.
7. Once baby is older, taking to the park or baby-friendly classes or playdates.


REQUIREMENTS
- Minimum 4 years of professional childcare experience
- Minimum 2 years of infant experience
- Minimum 1 years of professional infant nanny experience
- Experience in a full-charge nanny role
- Dog-friendly
- Open-minded with approach and supporting what is best for baby/family
- Non-smoker/vaper
- Valid driver’s license + clear driving record
- Able to make a 13 month commitment

COMPENSATION
Hourly: $ 25 - $28/hr depending on qualifications
PTO, Paid Holidays + Sick time: offered
*The family also travels for 1-3 weeks per year and will not need their nanny to travel
Health insurance stipend: Negotiable
