This international couple has happily landed in Nashville after growing up abroad, attending college in NYC and growing their careers, and now their family! They are adoring parents who love reading, culture, and everything about East Nashville. They are excited to build a community here and are excited to be very involved community members. Mom is an artist and writer and Dad is about to be a partner at a law firm. They value education, but really want someone who will encourage their kids to become their own little selves through incorporating reading, imaginative play, and encouraging the boys to express themselves. They family is full of joy, and we shared many laughs and positive conversations throughout getting to know them better.
Typical daily childcare duties are needed for the boys, 2.5 and 5 months, such as playtime, naps, lots of adventures around the yard and *hopefully* soon to child friendly places around town, reading lots of books and encouraging learning through everyday activities (the nanny doesn't need to go out of her way to create lessons, etc.) making bottles and meals, and cleaning up after the boys.
This family has an affinity for the arts and culture. Both parents were raised in Japan and really love the Japanese and Asian culture. They value education, but don't push it, with a love for reading and constant learning, their little ones are growing up to be creative, well rounded, and outgoing kiddos. They hope to work together with a nanny who also appreciates the same things they do and can connect with them on a personal level.
